I tell brides that cloudy days are great for photos—- and it’s true! I tell them that rain is romantic to shoot in. Again, not a lie. And I tell them that golden sunset rays and basically God’s gift. I’m not exaggerating. I love shooting in different weather for different reasons. There really isn’t any bad weather to shoot in as far as I am concerned (although the hot days of summer can sometimes be exhausting).
When I headed out to the outskirts of Bloomsburg for Morgan and Devin’s engagement session, the sun was shinning, the trees were rustling in the breeze, and we were being treated to the first signs of Autumn. Morgan and Devin (and puppy Sophie) strolled in the sunshine and, so madly in love, and thrilled to be spending a quiet country evening together. Quickly, the clouds rolled in and rain started to fall, and it was every bit as romantic as anyone could dream. As day began to fade, the sun popped out for one last show, and not a second too late.
As we were walking along the rows of pine trees, I remarked to Morgan and Devin how much I was enjoying their session. It’s one thing to have amazing weather, but it’s another entirely to have a couple so excited to celebrate their love. My heart is so full looking at these photos! I can’t wait to send this gallery off soon!
