Pine Barn Inn Weddings | Danville Wedding Photography | Emily + Chris

Emily and Chris are the definition of love; love for one another, love for others, love for life.  When I first met them last fall for their engagement session, I was instantly amazed by how comfortable they made ME feel.  Yes, ME!  This isn’t about me at all- it’s about them- and yet they were making me feel at ease.  They are both so kind and positive and they welcomed me in to their personal story.  I had been looking forward to their wedding for months because I could not think of a couple more deserving to have their beautiful lives documented.

Emily credits the Blessed Mother with keeping the rain at bay on Saturday.  For days beforehand, it looked like it was going to be a wash out.  I was so nervous for her and Chris because I know how much they wanted to have their portraits outdoors.  Well, as faith and luck would have it, we were blessed with the perfect overcast day.  Emily and Chris exchanged vows at St. Columba in Bloomsburg and danced the night away at The Pine Barn Inn in Danville. They had a wonderful team of creatives working with them to help create their vintage vision.

Emily’s lace champagne and blush Casablanca Bridal gown was perfectly matched with her bouquet of  roses.  She joined the wedding party and rode in style in a vintage trolley.  The reception featured many of Emily’s mother’s antiques, including cameras, books, pearls- basically it was a dream and I had to fight myself to not run away with 10 vintage cameras!

Like the classic couple they are, Emily and Chris danced for the first time as man and wife to Louis Armstrong’s La Vie En Rose.  Tears were flowing as Chris whirled Emily throughout the dance floor.  The cake was possibly the most amazingly beautiful cake I have ever seen in my life!  Cake+roses=perfection.

I could go on for ages writing about my love for Emily, Chris, and their wedding- but no one wants to read my ramblings more than they have to.  So instead, enjoy some photos, and a video filmed by Ally Winter.

  1. Allie,

Thank you so much for the lovely compliment on the wedding cake! I hope you were lucky enough to have a piece of our homemade cake as well.

Your photos showcase how beautiful a small 3 tiered cake can be when surrounded by gorgeous flowers!
