Terrain at Styers Wedding | Victoria and Nate| Glen Mills Wedding

For as long as I can remember, as far as my business is concerned, I have always dreamed of photographing a wedding at Terrain at Styers in Glen Mills. It’s whimsical take on all things woodland and natural have always called to me. The only way I can explain Terrain is– Nature, but make it polished. Basically it’s the kind of nature I like to immerse myself in.

I remember texting my friends when Victoria and Nate booked me for their Terrain wedding. It might seem so silly, but don’t ever forget to celebrate the small accomplishments! I knew Victoria from our days working at Anthropologie and I knew that she would have no problem creating a visually stunning wedding. Along with their team of vendors (see below), Victoria and Nate threw one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever photographed. It wasn’t just the Jimmy Choo green velvet shoes, the Anne Barge dress, or the Nutmeg Cake Design wedding cake, it was the atmosphere. It was the way Victoria and Nate threw themselves into their day, pure and joyful and ready to be carried away.

I cannot rave enough about this wedding and express what a joy it was to be a part of. Take a look and check out these incredible vendors who made the day a smashing success!

Tyler Arboretum Wedding | Tara and TJ

bride and groom kiss in the yellow autumn leaves of the ginkgo tree at tyler arboretum

Oh, I cannot tell you how excited I have been to share this gallery. Tara and TJ had one of the mot beautiful fall weddings I have ever witnessed. Tyler Arboretum, located in Media, PA, looked like something out of a Bob Ross painting. Everywhere you turned, colors were more vibrant than seemed possible. I remember Tara telling me about her favorite tree at Tyler Arboretum, a Ginkgo tree, and how she had chosen it at the site for their ceremony. Little did I know, autumn colors would be at their prime that weekend, and her beloved Ginkgo tree would be alight with vibrant hues of yellow and lime green.

The threat of rain was a real one for Tara and TJ. If you have gotten married in 2018, chances are it was raining. As I strolled through the grounds at Tyler Arboretum, arranging Tara’s dress and shoes, styling TJ’s tie, and capturing the details of their day, my heart ached for a rainless day. There was not a chance I wouldn’t be heartbroked if we had to move inside, and this wasn’t even my wedding!

As luck would have it, not a drop fell as Tara walked down the aisle, TJ serenading her with his guitar. The dark skies made the colors pop more vibrantly, and the cool autumn air was combated with hot cider.

During the reception, with all the guests tucked inside the barn, the skies opened and we were me with a downpour that had waited all day.

I am so very excited to share some of my favorite moments from Tara and TJ’s wedding!
