Love Park Wedding | Tony and Julia | Philadelphia Wedding Photography

A romantic Love Park Wedding. Can you imagine?

Picturing the ruby red statue in the heart of the city, with City hall to it’s front, and a clear view down Ben Franklin Parkway to the Art Museum at its back, I can hardly think of a better spot to say “I Do”. Getting married at love park under the LOVE statue was something I thought to be impossible, until Tony and Julia reached out about their wedding. Love Park hosts Wedding Wednesdays, and it just so happens, Julia and Tony got a spot!

If you have ever tried to get a picture with the LOVE statue, you will know that there is usually a line at least 10 deep. To my joy, weddings at the Park come with red velvet ropes, keeping excited passersby just out of frame.

Julia and Tony had a pretty public engagement on the stage of Kimmel Center during a Valentine’s Day performance (check out the sweet moment here! ). They are both musicians in the Philadelphia Orchestra, bringing beauty to the city, so it was only fitting that the city provide some beauty for them on their wedding day.

Though I only spent a little over an hour with Julia and Tony for their elopement, I had so much fun getting to know them. We traipsed around city hall to the calls of “Congratulations!” from all who passed by, snapped some photos, and then they were off to celebrate in some big ways. Check out some of my favorite moments below!

Appleford Estate Wedding | Hunter and Alyssa | Villanova Pennsylvania Wedding Photography

Last summer, while we were all relatively sticking to the rivers and the creeks we were used to, I photographed Hunter and Alyssa’s Appleford Estate wedding in Villanova, PA. It truly felt like I was traipsing around an old estate in France. Every attention to detail at Appleford Estate, from the manicured gardens to the furnished rooms, was impeccable.

Hunter and Alyssa had to push back their day a year due to the pandemic. It broke my heart for them at the time. However, once everything had come full circle, I knew their day ended up being just perfect for them. I had the best time working with Hunter and Alyssa and I am so excited to share some photos from their day!

The Manor at Prophecy Creek Wedding | Gabriella and Jack | Montgomery County Wedding Photography

Ambler Wedding Photography

The day before her wedding at the Manor at Prophecy Creek, Gabriella watched as intense storms hit the area and swept away some of the remaining leaves. She joked about hot gluing the leaves back on branches, worried the color she was so looking to capture would be gone. Prophecy Creek grounds don’t need any leaves to create beauty- there is beauty in SPADES there. Nonetheless, we were lucky to find many trees were still popping with color on the day. And the autumn sunshine cast a glow on everything.

No matter the weather, and it was beautiful, by the way, there was nothing that could take one ounce of joy from Gabriella and Jack. Goodness if they didn’t make EVERYONE cry several times. You can’t help but tear up when you see them together.

Gabriella and Jack have a way of making everyone they meet feel like family. They had one of the biggest guest lists I’ve seen! Their day was celebrated by so many who have loved them over the years, and I could see just how special this day was for everyone involved. The gorgeous autumn weather, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere, made this a wedding I won’t soon forget!

Every detail Gabriella and Jack created helped make their day unforgettably stunning. Check out some of my favorites—- and trust me it was hard to choose!

Longwood Gardens Engagement Photography | Hunter and Alyssa | Pennsylvania Engagement Photography

Give me all the sunrise sessions. Morning is my favorite time of the day, and when you throw in an engagement session at Longwood gardens with two wonderful people, I’m not sure it can get any better!

I was so excited to hear that Hunter and Alyssa would be in town for Alyssa’s cousin’s wedding (which I photographed!). We were able to arrange our schedules for a sunrise engagement session, and not only did it fit in perfectly before their flight, but it gave us a couple of uninterrupted hours at Longwood Gardens. Longwood Gardens is vastly popular and it’s so hard to find a quiet nook before the holidays. Hunter, Alyssa and I practically had the place to ourselves on that Sunday morning. There was a slight chill in the air, but the sun was out and the autumn colors were hanging on.

Hunter and Alyssa were two of the easiest people to work with. They both share my passion for travel, and I was able to hear of their travels to some of the places on my bucket list. I’m sure they were imagining being someplace warm while we were outdoors, but trust me when I say that it was worth it!

I am so excited for their wedding, which will be here before we know it (and much warmer mid summer!!!).

Grace Winery Wedding | Amy and Matt | Glen Mills Wedding Photography

bride and groom embrace in the vineyards at Grace Winery after their wedding

In the thick of winter, nothing makes me happier than sharing some sweet memories of Amy and Matt’s Grace Winery Wedding. It’s one of the only weddings I shot hybrid, both digital and film, and I am so proud of that fact. Film is stunning, albeit a bit scare (hello where is the preview screen?? Oh… Right…), and I knew Amy and Matt would be the perfect couple to incorporate film with. You might not even be able to tell which photos below are film and which are digital…. and that’s the goal!

This was my first time shooting at Grace Winery, and it was everything I could have dreamed of! Not only are the old stone buildings and red barn full of charm and history, but the staff were all incredibly warm and helpful. And don’t get me started on the food! Amy and Matt had their ceremony in a grassy knoll behind the barn. It almost reminded me of an outdoor theater, with benches built into the earth. Matt built the wedding arch, and all of the florals….well…. that was Amy and Matt!

For me, one of the highlights of the day was sunset portraits in the vineyard. We somehow hit the vineyard at the perfect time and soaked in all of the orange sunset goodness. More than anything, I love how Matt and Amy’s joy is so perfectly captured. If you ever get a chance to meet them, they’ll become your favorite people 🙂

For sure one of my favorite weddings of the year!
