Love Park Wedding | Tony and Julia | Philadelphia Wedding Photography

A romantic Love Park Wedding. Can you imagine?

Picturing the ruby red statue in the heart of the city, with City hall to it’s front, and a clear view down Ben Franklin Parkway to the Art Museum at its back, I can hardly think of a better spot to say “I Do”. Getting married at love park under the LOVE statue was something I thought to be impossible, until Tony and Julia reached out about their wedding. Love Park hosts Wedding Wednesdays, and it just so happens, Julia and Tony got a spot!

If you have ever tried to get a picture with the LOVE statue, you will know that there is usually a line at least 10 deep. To my joy, weddings at the Park come with red velvet ropes, keeping excited passersby just out of frame.

Julia and Tony had a pretty public engagement on the stage of Kimmel Center during a Valentine’s Day performance (check out the sweet moment here! ). They are both musicians in the Philadelphia Orchestra, bringing beauty to the city, so it was only fitting that the city provide some beauty for them on their wedding day.

Though I only spent a little over an hour with Julia and Tony for their elopement, I had so much fun getting to know them. We traipsed around city hall to the calls of “Congratulations!” from all who passed by, snapped some photos, and then they were off to celebrate in some big ways. Check out some of my favorite moments below!

Normandy Farms Brunch Wedding | Lena and Nathan | Blue Bell Wedding Photography

If you have never thought of a brunch wedding, then you, my friend, are missing out! This Normandy Farms brunch wedding has started a trend for one of my new favorite things: breakfast food at weddings! Yes. A full breakfast, complete with an omlette station, bacon, eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes – you name it, Normandy Farms served it!

Lena and Nathan knew they wanted a brunch wedding filled with games and fun for all of their guests. I wasn’t really too sure what to expect, as I had never been to a brunch wedding before, but it was seriously a lot of fun, and totally worth the 7am start time. The bride and groom were on their way by 3pm, and just how romantic is it that they could cook dinner together for the first time as husband and wife on their wedding day?

From the warm August sun, to the glistening white silos at Normandy Farm, just outside of Philadelphia, Lena and Nathan had a wedding I will not soon forget. They focused on the moments, the memories, not just that they would create, but that their guests would share in. I mean who doesn’t love life sized Jenga?

Check out some of my favorites!

Destination Wedding Photography | Introducing Pay My Way

destination digital and filmi wedding photographer

You all know that I love travel and I love photography. When both worlds collide, I am a happy gal! As much as I love photographing destination weddings, I know that this can be a big budget strain for many couples. I am excited to announce that each year I will be honoring 1 Pay My Way destination wedding! That’s right…. you have read this correctly. Here are the details:

What you will be covering:

Airfare and any travel needed (and airfare must include baggage because a photographer does not travel light)

Acommodations for 3 nights. I request 3 nights because I want to be sure that I am not delayed and am well rested for your wedding. I also like to be early to scout for photo locations.

Daily stipend. This will cover meals and daily expenses.

Whether you are planning an elopement, a Tuscan hillside wedding, a vow renewal, I’m your girl.

Spring Hollow Golf Club Wedding | Carli and Jack | East Coast Wedding Photography

As the wind blew Carli’s veil across her face, Jack mindlessly brushed her hair back from her face and held her close. Their spring wedding at Spring Hollow Golf Club brought beautiful sunshine and ferocious winds. But most importantly, it brought two families together.

Spring weddings in Pennsylvania have a very special charm to them. Everyone and everything is waking up from a long cold winter, and the extra hours of sunshine and warm breezes make us all giddy. Carli and Jack choose one of the best spring days for their wedding, despite the wind. Somehow they managed to dodge the endless days of rain, and exchanged their vows on the greens overlooking a small lake.

As far as Philadelphia area venues go, Spring Hollow cannot be beat. From their ornate ballroom to pine covered hills, it was a little slice or paradise!

So thankful to have worked with some of the best vendors around:
